Anne Frank’s Home Tickets

We are taking a Viking River cruise from Amsterdam next month! We arrive in Amsterdam on April 11th and board the river boat on April 13th! We wanted to visit Anne Frank’s home but just checked ticket site! It showed all tickets thru April 13th sold out! Is there another way we can get tickets?

Unfortunately tickets do sell out very quickly as soon as they're posted (on Tuesdays they release tickets six weeks out). As far as I know you can only buy tickets through the official website, there are no third party sales. The only thing you can do is to regularly check the website to see if someone has canceled for your dates. https://www.annefrank.org/en/museum/tickets/choose-your-ticket/ There are plenty of companies that will do walking tours that go by the house, but you won't be able to go in.

Try looking at AirBnb experiences in Amsterdam. We did one in 2018 that included a bicycle tour of the old Jewish Quarter and a tour inside the Anne Frank house. Good Luck

@Dona; could it be you’re mistaken and bought the tickets to the Anne Frank house yourself?
The Anne Frank house has a very strict no-resale and no-third party ticket sale policy. It would have been illegal for Airbnb to sell you tickets to the Anne Frank house.

The only way to buy tickets to the Anne Frank house is on the official website. All other sites selling tickets are illegal.
I would just keep checking the website of the Anne Frank house on a regular basis until you get here, especially every Tuesday as that’s when new tickets are added.

Tickets just opened up at 10am CEST for the week I needed. It's the middle of the night in the US. I barely got the date I wanted and got a time that isn't terrific, but I got them! Now 20 min after the ticket time slots have opened, they are nearly sold out.

There seemed to be some issues today at 10 am when the tickets for the week starting on April 29 were released.
The issues have been resolved and as I’m typing this, none of the newly released dates from April 29 up to and including May 5 are sold out yet.
So those wanting to buy tickets for that week, should go the website immediately and get them asap.
