What time (local) do the tix go on sale for the Anne Frank Museum ?
Any tricks to ensure best chance of getting the tickets ?

The Anne Frank Huis is immensely popular and tickets are sold out quickly. So keep this well in mind: »80% of tickets for any date are released exactly two months in advance.«

I went online at around 9:30am Netherlands time 2 months to the day before my visit and had no trouble.

Additionally, if you find the standard admission ticket sold out, look for the availability of "admission with introductory program" tickets as these are made availability two weeks prior to date of admission. They're a few euros more, but include a 30 minute programs that provides historical/contextual background information.
