I tried to reserve a ticket at the Anne Frank House. If I plan on buying the museumkaart, this is included in the fee. I didn't see a way of reserving the ticket without actually buying it for that day. Am I doing something wrong?
I just went on their site and what you do is select your time-slot, add to cart and then select Dutch Museum Pass and the charge is .50. Complete the purchase and of course be sure to have your Museumkaart with you when you show up for your time. Please note the IAmsterdam card does not allow free entry.
Thanks so much for the information.
Hi John, tickets go on sale 60 days in advance on the official website. Get right on it because they go quickly!
If you are able to secure your tickets for a specific time, I suggest that when you arrive at the Anne Frank house and see the long line winding around the building, go around the line up to the entrance a couple of minutes before the specific time. The gatekeeper will then admit you.
