I see several options, but not sure which to choose. We arrive October 3rd for two nights. Want to see Van Gough and Rijks, perhaps an evening canal cruise. Would be great to have the trip to the airport included as well as city transportation. Recommendations?
(I note that the City Pass includes one OR the other VG or Rijks, not both. Neither does it include city transportation.)

Amsterdam City Pass (€42.50): the advantage of this Amsterdam pass is that it does not need to be collected on arrival – you can organize it all online before your trip. It also includes the airport train tickets, the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum and a canal cruise. The minimum extra discounts it provides is 20% and it can be used for an unlimited amount of time.
Holland Pass (€40): this pass includes the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, a canal cruise. It also includes a return train ticket between the airport and the center, as well as extra discounts around Amsterdam. It can be used for an unlimited amount of time and needs to be picked up on arrival.
I Amsterdam Card (24 hrs €57; 48 hrs €67): this Amsterdam discount card includes a canal cruise and access to some of the smaller museums but it does not include entry to the Van Gogh Museum or the Rijksmuseum. The card provides you with a variety of discounts and can be used for 24 hours or more. The card has to be collected on arrival.
Museumkaart (€59.90): Only Dutch residents can use this card for a full one year after registering it online. To others, the card will expire after 31 days. It includes access to The Van Gogh Museum, The Rijksmuseum and some smaller museums. It does not provide you with extra discounts around Amsterdam.
Thanks!
