Amsterdam - what to eat/see around Dutch Resistance Museum & Maritime History Museum

Hello, We are going to the Dutch Resistance and Maritime museums one day during our trip to Amsterdam. Curious what other historical/cultural sites may be near by? Where would you suggest stopping for lunch? Thank you!

We came back to Amsterdam just to go to the Dutch Resistance museum. Across the street from the Resistance museum, is a zoo and gardens along the canal. We ate at a lovely restaurant, before heading out. I'm looking at a map, and I believe it was De Plantage. We ate outside overlooking some gardens. The museum is excellent, BTW. After our visit we headed to Harlem and onward on our travels.

Wonderful! Thank you for confirming - I've heard nothing but good things about the museum. I had read about Le Plantage in RS book. Excellent - we will stop there.

The Resistance Museum has a "podwalk" audio walking tour of the surrounding area.

We visited the Dutch Resistance Museum in the afternoon and spent several hours there until closing time around 5 pm.
From there, we walked over for dinner at De Plantage. We enjoyed the dinner there.

We also visited the Maritime Museum on a different day in the morning and spent 2 hours there and had lunch in their cafe-restaurant. My wife has a thing for museum cafes/restaurants.
