We will be in Amsterdam 3 full days. I have read RS book about the tram, Metro & Bus but I would like
to know if I should be buying the Regional Travel card in order to get to Zansee Schaans and the Keukenhof
Gardens (on different days) Day 1 We have to get from the airport to the city but can walk to our hotel from the station.
We will be walking most of the rest of the day. Day 2 - Zansee Schaans either by bus (391) or train and back, after that will need a
tram possibly to get to the Van Gogh museum area later in the day. Day 3 - Keukenhof Gardens - -metro to bus -there and back.
Does this sound like I should have the Regional card in that it is good for bus, tram, train and metro and the special bus to the Gardens There will be 4 of us.
Are bus 391 and 852(to Keukenhof) covered by the just Travel ticket?
Sorry if I am confusing everybody but any help would be appreciated.
I would pay for individual tickets. But I would also calculate the cost of each option to see what makes sense. I dont know how much the Regional Travel card is per person. I have found that I walk so much in Amsterdam (actually, I rent a bike) that I never use the tram. Oftentimes Ive bought tickets in advance (like a carnet in Paris = 10 metro tickets) and then dont use them bc I walk so much.
