We will be spending 2 consecutive days in Amsterdam for a family of 4. We are planning to go to the TI(Visitor Center) in Haarlem to purchase 4 Amsterdam Travel Cards using one Credit Card and know it is activated once we tap in to the train, trams, ect for 48 hours.
My question is, if we use 1 credit card and buy 4 separate tickets, will that work?
We went to the NS Train station in Haarlem and bought 4 Amsterdam and Region Travel Tickets for 2 consecutive days for 31Euro per person.
We each tapin/out and it provides unlimited inter city NS train service plus all metros/trams/buses for 48 hours.
I will post on a trip report for other families traveling. It was quite confusing but now Opportunity Solved!!
