We will be traveling by train from Amsterdam Centraal to Workum via Giethoorn. We are a family of 5 (2 parents, 3 kids) and will all have suitcases. We know we can go to Steenwijk by train then either bike or bus to Giethoorn. We are only planning on spending a couple hours there before backtracking to Steenwijk then getting back on the train to Workum. Curious if anyone has any suggestions on how to make this work, logistically?
Wondering what we should do with our luggage! I obviously can't see us biking with it. Is there any sort of luggage storage in Steenwijk that anyone knows of? Or even if we took the bus to Geithoorn, then what can we do with our bags?
If I can't figure it out I'll just scratch it off the list...but I really don't want to! :)
