We are trying to get from Amsterdam to Norderney, Germany en route to Copenhagen, departing July 5. We have 6 days and are not comfortable driving ourselves. Any suggestions and route ideas would be appreciated.
Then you take the train. Visit www.bahn.de and buy a ticket from Amsterdam to Norddeich Mole, and then from Norddeich Mole to Copenhagen. Add a ferry ticket and everything is done.
Are you planning to do it all in one day? It's a long train trip, especially with the break in between. Or are you staying on Norderney for a period of time before heading up to Copenhagen?
I'm assuming a longer stop on Norderney because I don't think it is possible to do this in one day.
This will be our first time in The Netherlands and Denmark. We have two weeks for the entire trip. We are planning on 4 days in Amsterdam and 4 In Copenhagen. That leaves us 6 days to travel between the two cities. We thought it would be fun to go to Norderney for a night or two on our way. We are interested in unique experiences off the beaten path.

Sounds like a good idea! You could also add a night in Hamburg on the way.
That's a good idea - AZ, you will have to stop at Hamburg anyway, and there's definitely enough there for a day of sightseeing.
