Amsterdam ticket site Tiquets legitimate?

Hello,

My family and I are traveling to Amsterdam in April of 2025. My mother went ahead and bought tickets for a bus to take us out to the tulip fields through the Tiquets website before I could vet it. Can anyone confirm if this is a legitimate website? I don't see anything in the RS Amsterdam book about it and have always gone off his book's recommendations as to where to buy tickets when traveling in Europe.

Additionally, I read that tickets for the Anne Frank House are released at 4 am EST, 10 am in Amsterdam, 6 weeks prior to the date. Is this correct?

Thank you for the help!

“My family and I are traveling to Amsterdam in April of 2025. My mother went ahead and bought tickets for a bus to take us out to the tulip fields through the Tiquets website before I could vet it”

Do you mean Tiqets? (No “u”)
Tiqets is legitimate, but they are a 3rd party reseller. They resell tickets from the companies that actually provide the tour or service and charge you extra for it.
I’m curious what bus your mother bought tickets for. Where does this bus depart? Who operates it?
If your mother had waited until next year, she could have bought the Entry+bus combo tickets directly from the Keukenhof. These tickets aren’t for sale yet, because it’s way too early for that. Entry prices for the 2025 season aren’t even determined yet.

“Additionally, I read that tickets for the Anne Frank House are released at 4 am EST, 10 am in Amsterdam, 6 weeks prior to the date. Is this correct?”
No, it’s not fully correct. Tickets only go on sale on Tuesdays. Every Tuesday tickets are released for the full week that starts on the Monday 5 weeks and 6 days later. So for example, next Tuesday September 3 is the Tuesday of week #36. That Tuesday tickets will become available for the entire week #42.

Thank you so much for the information regarding the Anne Frank House. I appreciate it!

As for the tour tickets, yes they were bought from Tiqets. I apologize about my misspelling the name. The meeting point is Overhoeksplein 51. The instructions read:

"Show your smartphone voucher at THIS IS HOLLAND and you'll be given a return bus ticket and a ticket to Keukenhof."

Have you heard of this tour group? Thank you again for your help!

Kind Regards,

Linnet

I used Tiqets for entrance and bus to Keukenhof. They have multiple buses running for your timed departure. I showed up early and was able to take an earlier bus. Short walk from the ferry to where the buses departed.

Depending on when in April you want to visit the Anne Frank House, it may be 5am ET for tickets…clocks spring forward on March 9 in the US but March 30 in the Netherlands. I got lucky last year and got my extra hour of sleep :)

I highly recommend getting the ticket that also includes the intro session. I thought it was very interesting and well presented.

@halhart thank you so much for your feedback on your experience. We are planning to arrive to the bus departure location early in the hopes of taking an earlier bus, so great to hear that that was possible for you!

@Maggie D, yes, great to remember about the clocks! I appreciate this information!
