Amsterdam Restaurant and canal walk

Hello -
My son and I have one night in Amsterdam, Sunday March 19, on a scheduled layover before we head back to the US.

Can anyone suggest a great restaurant for us? We will have all evening and night to discover the city and would love a great meal (and walking tour) as the finale of our trip.

When in Amsterdam, you should have it's famous Rijsttafel, Indonesian, from the days of the Dutch colonial history.
A famous one is Blauw. look at amsterdamfoodie.nl
Do you mean a canal walk that you book? Never have heard of one.
Usually you take a canal boat ride through Amsterdam.
