Hi, we will be in Amsterdam for the month of July and are interested in playing Pickleball. My on-line search was a bit inconclusive as to whether there are places in town that allow "open play." Does anyone have experience with this? We will be living in the Schoonschip Houseboat Community in the Buiksloterham area of Amsterdam-Noord. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Have you considered a try at padel instead? You might like the challenge of a similar but different game.

Hi Tom, Padel does seem to be the game of the country, doesn't it? It's early times yet in the vacation so I think I'll keep looking for pickleball courts but may need to take your advice if I've not found anything in a week or so. Thanks!
