So it seems the one night we will be in Amsterdam, is an annual event held the first Saturday of November. Is anyone aware of it? I found it by looking at the Anne Frank website and noticed they were closing earlier than usual that night because of this event. We are flying in a day early to pick up a cruise and want to see a few things while we are there and wondered if this might be a wonderful opportunity, or a crazy, busy one!
Thanks,
KK
On line info :
Museum Night on November 5 , 2016
Museums are open to the public from 7 pm till 2 am .
One ( 1 ) special ticket gets you into about 50 participating museums with activities & events .
This ticket also includes a 24 hour GVB ( Amsterdam Public Transport ) ticket and further day entry into museums .
I find the info a bit vague. Which museums participate ? How much does this ticket cost ? When does this " further day entry " start ? November 6 on Sunday ?
There is a website : " What's on in Amsterdam ". Closer to November there may be more info . I sure hope so .
Seems to be a big thing and looks like great fun, and yes, it would be crazy busy for you but still, great fun. - Museum night
