The article quoted is not inaccurate. It reports the "final evolution" of the plans, which were initially a suspension for 11 months (effectively a year) in both directions to 6 months in both directions, to what it is now- a 6 month suspension from Amsterdam onwards.
The report may not be written in very clear terms, but is accurate that it is a uni-directional suspension. Nothing has changed since that article was written- before this post was first raised
It is possible, of course, that plans will change again or the building work over-run.
But Eurostar are currently selling tickets on the London to Amsterdam through train and Amsterdam to London transfer (from another Eurostar, ex Thalys) service at Brussels.
At no stage have official announcements or press reportage been inaccurate- only misunderstood notifications on bulletin boards like this.
