I have some difficulty walking about and like to use public transportation for jaunts in cities. Usually, we purchase multiple day transportation passes for cities but so far, I have been unable to locate a link for a transportation pass for Amsterdam. I'm sure that I have just missed the info but can someone help?

You're very welcome. Be aware, as it days on that page, it's essential that you "scan" you're card when entering and exiting the trams. If you don't the chip inside the card will be deactivated, and the pass will be useless.
Can these passes be bought in Amsterdam, or do you have to buy them online from the US?
They can only be purchased in Amsterdam. Either on board one of the trams or the GVB office across from Centraal Station.
