I've been to Amsterdam at least a dozen times, but only during Spring, Summer, and Fall. This year I'll be going in December. I know that it can get colder and damp, but I'm wondering if I can get by with a water-resistant (micro suade) light weight jacket with heavy sweater underneath for colder temperatures. Also, I know that the Christmas season will be in full swing, but any other suggestions aside from the usual Amsterdam activities would be most welcome. Am thinking of possibly going to Rotterdam, The Hague and possibly Friesland for some day trips. Thanks, John
