Amsterdam in April/May

I've been looking at the timed slots for both the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh. It looks like I still have plenty of availability for the Rijksmuseum but when I go to the website for the Van Gogh museum, I can't buy tickets after March 6th. Is it just not available for purchase yet or do you think they are already sold out? Did I miss the window?

What options do I have to get tickets to Van Gogh if I missed the booking window? Can I use a Get Your Guide or a Viator option?

If I want to go to the Anne Frank house on 4/30, am I correct that I have to go online March 18th 10AM NL time zone.

As you can see on the website of the Van Gogh museum, the calendar doesn’t go beyond March and all March dates after March 6 are greyed out. This means it’s simply much too early to buy tickets for the museum. Check again in a month or two and you should be able to get tickets.
The Van Gogh museum does tend to sell out during the peak tourist seasons, but it doesn’t sell out months in advance.
Unless there’s a special exhibit, the Rijksmuseum rarely sells out, so there is no need to buy tickets now.

If you want to visit the Anne Frank house on April 30, you should indeed go online on Tuesday March 18 at around 10 am. If tickets aren’t available immediately just wait a bit, sometimes tickets are released a bit later.

My experience with the Rijksmuseum is that it's really crowded, even with timed tickets. It's worth it to go early morning or late afternoon, to have a quality experience. The museum has placed all the most noteworthy works in the same place, the Hall of Honor, so all the crowds collect there. So few people really seemed to be enjoying the art, so busy with selfies and their phones. Whatever.....
