Has anyone stayed at Hotel Residence Le Coin? It is a RS recommendation in his travel guide. Location looks great but how about rooms and amenities? Thank you.

It's a clean but modest business class hotel. The best part is that they have kitchenettes so you can eat in and save money. The location is great--most major sights are within walking distance.

I highly recommend Hotel l'Ambassade which was created from several historic gabled merchant homes. Lots of charm, right on the Herengracht Canal in the beautiful Central Canal Ring area. You have a choice of canal view or city view rooms which are nicely appointed.
