Amsterdam - Hotel convenient to River Cruise departure (Avalon River Cruise)

I looked it up and the river cruise dock is just a few blocks from the central train station. You could look for hotels using central station as your search term.

Note that you need to establish where your cruise is leaving from. Many leave from Ruijterkade West or Ost as described by Carol not retired, but there are also 4 other river cruise docks.

Everyone sees the Ruijterkade berths behind Central Statiion- and many just assume that they are the only docks.

We stayed at the Doubletree before our river cruise. Great location. Walkable to the River Cruise port (assuming it's the one behind the hotel) and walkable from the Train Station. So when you fly in at Schipol, you can take the train to Amsterdam Centraal and then walk with you bags to the hotel.
