Amsterdam hotel close to train station

I've stayed at Ibis Styles Amsterdam Central Station and it was reasonably priced, clean, and right next to the train station. It's a good basic hotel - no frills but a decent night's sleep and right where you're looking to be

I have stayed in what is now the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel, which is right across the road when you come out of the station. It's a nice hotel and the location is perfect, but probably more expensive than the Ibis.

Movenpix City Center is about a 15 minute walk. I think there is a tram as well. We stayed there a couple of nights before a cruise.

We stayed at ibis Styles Aschaffenburg for one night before continuing our trip and had a good experience. The bed was actually very comfortable. The price was reasonable for the area, and the short walk to the train station made the morning departure much easier.

We stayed at the doubletree. Great location. .walkable to both the train station and Viking cruise port.

Aschaffenburg may be a bit far for Amsterdam - it is southeast of Frankfurt just into Baveria

A few years ago I stayed at the Movenpick Hotel very near the Amsterdam Central Train Station. It's a little more expensive than some other hotels, but it's very convenient. It's not guaranteed, but many river cruise ships dock very close to this hotel. It's a little tricky to get to the hotel entrance if you are walking from the train station. Check a map closely.
