Hello,
I'll be traveling solo to AMS for NYE (Dec 31 - Jan 02) since my friends were unable to get a visa to enter the EU. Any suggestions on where I should head as a solo traveler for NYE festivities, that's not completely insane? I've been to AMS a few times but never for NYE.
I prefer good cocktail bars over clubs, but a cocktail bar with a DJ would also be amazing...
Any other suggestions are welcome.
Been there done that New Year's eve 2018.
I spent it at the club BIMHUIS. The music was live jazz band and then after midnight was 70's disco. I am 50 and BIMHUIS attracts more mature relaxed crowd for New Yea3 eve but my niece who came with me is 21 enjoyed it.

You are kind of late planning some of the kind of places you want are probably sold out.
I’m staying at the Sir Adam hotel now. Really fun hotel with lots of music variety. I think it would be lots of fun for NYE.
