The question is whether take a day or night canal cruise. They both sound great but maybe there is something special about one or the other that we have not thought about. Thank you in advance.

We have done both, and enjoyed the evening one better. Partially because that was not one of the big cruises, so it was more personal. We left about 7pm in February, so it was dark, but not pitch dark, and it was really pretty. Take a look at http://amsterdamprivateboattour.com for a really great canal cruise! Our hotel recommended him and we were very pleased! Jack in young and energetic, very engaging, and a born and raised local so you find out more about life in general there than you do on the big cruises.
