Amsterdam B&B Heren or Maes?

We are gathering ideas for our 2 night stay in Amsterdam pre-BOE tour. I have several names and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with Heren or Maes B&B, located in the Jordaan? Thanks for any help! Our trip is April 2015 but I'd like to get all of this squared away!

Hi - I stayed at Heren B & B four years ago (solo traveler, female senior citizen) and it was wonderful! I had the room in the basement and it had an amazing bathroom - everything was spotless. It was so convenient to have a full kitchen and living room available. The location was great, too - I walked almost everywhere I needed to go in Amsterdam. I would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for your reply, Sandi. I am thinking this is where we will stay. Our first choice is already booked and we really like the location of this B&B!

We are in Amsterdam right now in a spectacular b&b on the Prinsengracht Canal, in the 9 little streets area. Could not recommend more highly. They only have 2 rooms, both with million-dollar views of the canal. Fabulous king size bed, huge bathroom, made-to-order breakfasts with cappuccinos, eggs, pastries, fresh berries. Name is Bij Tijn op de Gracht. I booked on Booking.com.
