We are undecided as to where to stay between the Amsterdam Wiechmann Hotel (no elevator) or the NH City Centre Amsterdam.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to which might be better from an Accommodations or Location standpoint?

Both hotels are located within the Canal Zone, so both are in a good location. The major downside of the Wiechmann is that it has no elevator. Stairs in canal houses in Amsterdam can be like ladders and difficult to climb with luggage. If you have even the slightest mobility issues, I would go for the NH City Center.

Not the answer You're looking for but my favorite hotel in Amsterdam is the Doelen. On the canal with great views. Nice amenities. Central location. Been staying there since 1985. Never been disappointed.
