Just spending 3-4 nights in Amsterdam in February 2025. Suggestions on quiet hotels/B&B near the main sights?
We stayed at the Hotel Hegra in 2013. The rooms have been redecorated since then but I bet they're still tiny and the staircase is narrow. We loved the location. https://www.stanley-hegra.com/
Hotel The Craftsmen - from the 1500s and each room is decorated after a craftsman from that era. On a main canal, walkable to everything. Amazing breakfast. See photos and reviews on TripAdvisor - but book directly with the hotel.
We were there this part February and seated at the Hotel Estherea. Loved it!!! On their instagram page they had a promo that included breakfast, which was a great deal. Their breakfast is excellent. The hotel is very central and we never needed to take a tram, we just walked.
We really enjoyed our stay at two of the Sweets Hotel locations. These are "bridge houses" that the bridge operators once lived in.
We stayed at the Banks Mansion Hotel...it's an all-inclusive (self serve bar in lobby 24/7, cheese trolley 5-6pm with wine, mini bar in room refilled daily...all included!!) and has a great included breakfast if you choose to partake...it was great to socialize with the other guests at the happy hour. The rooms, while on the smaller side (not a problem for us) were just perfect. We chose a canal room view and it was really worth it. Enjoy!

We stayed a week at The Hotel Nadia that is near the Anne Frank House and easy walking distance to the city center.
Rooms were small, but breakfast was good and included. Cost for a week was $1000. This was in 2022.
