Hello,
There have been no posts on touring the flower markets since 2022! My husband and I will be in Amsterdam in April for 8 days--during the Kings Day celebration weekend! Prime tulip and flower season. I'd love to explore the villages outside of Amsterdam for a day or two including going to the Royal Floral Holland Auction market or?? What is anyones recent experiences and suggestions?

Hi Joan — Have a look at the tours offered by Peter Boers at flowertoursholland.com. Peter is great — highly knowledgeable about horticulture/floriculture and very personable. Also quite willing to adjust itineraries to take your individual preferences into account.

Thank you! We are hoping to book a flower market directly and wander from town to town on our own. His tours look amazing but they seem really expensive unless we can fill his shuttle. I have reached out to him though!
