9 streets AirBnb

We had our original hostess cancel for the better and AirBnb found my Father and I a room in a shared apartment with use of kitchen, washer, dryer and with WiFi and Cable TV for $102 per night for 4 nights at the end of April.

We are staying in the 9 streets area in a historic building and am excited to explore the Jordaan,Rajiksmuseum,Van Gough Museum and Anne Frank House.

I love that we are close to Public Transportation, walking distance to many of the sites a 10 minute walk to Dam Square,11 minutes to Jordaan. We have Uber so we will use it from the port and to Schipol Airport 17 KM away.

Rick Steves would be proud of my hard work negotiating with AirBnb they afe covering the difference.

Our Host is a Super Host and the reviews are top notch. He offers a Historic Walking Tour, help taking luggage up the three flights of stairs and gives tips of where to go. He even helped to get tickeys to a concert and went with the guests.

This man sounds like a tour guide working for Rick. He loves traveling the world like we do.

Your comments are most appreciated on the location, night life and AirBnb choice. What could be better than staying in the canal area . We have a view of a canal and a French Balcony and a Nesspresso machine which will get good use!

We have stayed on the Herengracht Canal near the 9 Streets and want to share that it is a wonderful area, good dining and transportation choices nearby.

This post could be helpful to others if you identified the lodging. Why would you ask for comments on ..."AirBnb choice" when you haven't given the exact name or location? Am I missing something?
