My wife and I are spending 4 days at a B&B in Amsterdam, then a river cruise back and forth up the Rhine in mid September prior to renting a motorhome for 9 days. Looking for suggestions for a circular route starting north across the E22 causeway then through Germany and possibly Belgium and France. We want to avoid major highways, big cities and we like, castles, rivers and backroads. We live in Canada.
