We booked a one night stay at Albus hotel for our family- 2 adults, 2 children (ages 13 and 8). We are in Amsterdam 20 hours only. We would like to see Keukenhof Gardens. We are thinking to leave our suitcases (bringing only a small backpack each for overnight) at the airport when we arrive at 1930 Friday. What is the best way to get to the gardens from the hotel but returning to the airport directly? Maybe return from hotel to airport for a round trip bus combi ticket to the gardens? The public transportation route from Albus appears to take 1:23, longer than to go back to the airport and on to the gardens.
We arrive 1930 Fri and depart 1535 Sat. Thank you!

what town or city is the Albus in? I've never heard of it. Most direct connections to the Keukenhof go from the airport.

From the Vijzelstraat you either take the train from the Centraal Station to Schiphol, where you can pick up the Keukenhof Express, or go to the stop near the Rijksmuseum. On www.keukenhof.nl/en/plan-your-visit/public-transport/ you'll find directions.
