2 hours between flights

I am flying into AMS from Ibiza on Iberia. I am fly out of AMS to the US on Brittish Airways. Is 2 hours enough time to make that flight?

AMS is a much easier airport than CDG. I believe we made it once, i.e., change of planes in less than an hour. That was a few years ago. So I would say, yes, you should be able to make it in two hours.

That is always a tough question and the answer, should be, doesn't always work. It depends on several factor including your plane being on time, checked in BA, etc. Are you on one ticket and everything checked through to the US?

2 different airlines & 2 separate tickets AND I will have checked luggage as I'm traveling over 3 weeks.

It's always my first choice to fly on a single ticket. Sometimes it's not possible. I'm flying on non-linked tickets in January. I've given myself 5 hours at Frankfurt on the outbound and overnight at Frankfurt on the homebound, because I couldn't find anything longer than 2 hours and I don't like to mess around with tight connections in those situations.

If you decide to stick with your flights, I definitely would NOT check a bag. You can do carryon for a 3 week trip with careful planning.

I was flying through AMS to get to other locations from US only staying there one night. Now I am flying through Madrid -spending one night, followed by stops in Tisno, Croatia - Split, Croatia - Vis, Croatia - Barcelona & Ibiza. I will just have to add Amsterdam to the next trip :-)
