There are some 8 daily direct trains (with several stops). The fastest way, though, is to travel with a change in Hannover to the faster ICEs. That way, you save some 15min off your total travel time instead of using the direct train. If you want better trains all the way (ICEs), you can travel with a transfer in Dusseldörf
