12 days car rental from Amsterdam...! Where would you go?

Hello!
I was planning a three week car trip starting in Amsterdam but have since decided to spend time in the UK with a friend. I now have 12 days with a car, starting in Amsterdam/return to Amsterdam.

I had been planning on Rhine Valley and Bavaria, maybe up to Berlin (was wanting to go to Prague but have learned taking a rental to Czech Republic can be expensive) I am also wondering about a different option, Northern France to Bilbao! I love freedom and loose plans, and meeting people along the way who have suggestions.
I am not a huge fan of busy cities, more interested in food, art, agriculture, scenery, breweries, wineries, music. I do not plan on visiting every museum that I can, I love free time. Waking up at 6am is my thing rather than going to bed a 6am.

What would you suggest for 12 days with a car?
Headed out mid April.
Thanks!

I think you should go to Tuscany which features everything you mentioned Art, scenery, agriculture, wineries, food.

Another option not so far is to visit Belgium where you would have plenty of breweries to visit, splendid sceneries in the Ardennes, Robertville Lake, the Fagnes, art in Bruges or Brussels, discover small towns such as Andennes, Huy, Beaumont, Chimay, Lobbes, (village with a wonderful church), Thuin.

I usually try and determine the total number of miles I'm comfortable driving and figuring it out from that point. For example, if you want to drive around 1,000-1,200 miles, then draw a circle out 500 miles from Amsterdam and see what's inside that circle. Using my example, you could drive to Germany and tour the Rhine Valley, take the Romantic Road from Wurzburg to Fussen and on the way back stop off at Lake Constance (Bodensee), driving through Frieburg, and Colmar & Strasbourg, France. That route, per Google, is about 1,200 miles.

Of course, some people may find that is too much and would prefer to travel in a tighter circle. I don't find that 1,200 miles and approx. 25-30 hours of driving, over a 12 day period, to be overwhelming. I have been through all of the areas mentioned and have found them to be excellent. Also, if you're so inclined this route puts you in shouting distance of Munich, the castles in southern Germany, the Rhine Falls in Switzerland and many other sites in the Black Forest.
