10 Year Anniversary- Questions

Thank you all in advance.

Visiting May 12-16 for our 10 year anniversary. Couple of questions. We are big foodies from the states and love to wine and dine at the finest places.
- what are the best of the best restaurants you would recommend for really special bucket list dinners?
- What are great lunch spots that would give us a great taste of Amsterdam and must go?

  • Next topic is about the Tulips… I know we came a day after it “closes” what does that mean? Like no more tulips to be seen at all? Can we see travel somewhere to see tulips fields? Any recommendations on a place or places to go that week right after it “closes”?

Thank you!!!!

Can't comment on your food questions.

Regarding tulips, the "it" you are referring to is the Keukenhof Park, which has all of the display gardens. You apparently arrive after it was finished.

Weather permitting, you can bike or drive around various parts of the Netherlands to hopefully see the last of the flowering bulbs. Google will give you an AI overview if you ask it for Netherlands tulip fields in May.

Bucket list restaurants in Amsterdam for dinner; Spectrum, Vinkeles, Flore, Restaurant 212, Ciel Blue, Rijks and Taiko.

Tulips;
The tulips are spring flowers. The tulips in the tulip fields will be cut off in the first week of May, so they’re definitely won’t be any tulips to see anywhere after the Keukenhof closes for the season.
