We are flying home to US from Schipol Airport in the early a.m. and would like to stay in a nearby hotel. Any recommendations??

As the other poster mentioned what is your budget and what facilties are you looking for.
My recommendation is to look on expedia, trip advisor or one of the other hotel websites. It will give you reviews of the hotels, cost, facilities etc.
We are staying overnite outbound on our trip to Africa. We are planning on booking one of the hotels inside the airport, so we have easy access to the train to Amsterdam.

How early is "early a.m."? Are you looking for an overnight at the hotel or a day room?
How many is "we"?

Sorry I wasn't more specific! 2 adults; would like a recommendation for a reasonably priced hotel near the Schipol airport, catching a 10:00 a.m. flight the next morning. Yes, have looked at Trip Advisor, etc., just wondering if someone has one they highly recommend that is not real expensive. Thank you.

I have stayed twice at NH Schipol and it was fine. I believe the most recent trip I placed a "bid" through PriceLine and ended up at NH. I believe I paid about $90 for a room for two of us..

We stayed at the CitizenM, which is AT the airport. It's a funky "pod" hotel and we thought it was fun. You can watch the planes land from your window as it truly overlooks the runway. Check the reviews on Tripadvisor to see some pics and get a sense of the place. It's not somewhere I would stay for a lengthy visit but I thought it was a blast for a night.
