We enjoyed an incredible rijsttafel last night at Flamboyant. As it was our first ever rijsttafel, I cannot swear it was "the best" but it was flavorful, fresh, and filling. We were amazed at the range of flavors and ingredients. The restaurant insisted we needed to order one per person, but we were fine with that. The price was on par with a dinner entree at home: Euro 24.60 per person. It was a good value for the quality and quantity. We paired it with the recommended house red, a Tempranillo. Perfect!
Haarlem is so much less intense than Amsterdam. We are delighted to be staying here.
