I've booked a 4 night stay at the Kolk Residence in Amsterdam, near the Central Station. Wanted to see if anyone has any information or reviews on the place? I have not seen any, but the site looked nice.
We don't leave for a few months, so time to change if need be.

I recently returned from Amsterdam, and was curious to see where this was, since the Central Station area can be very crowded and touristy--particularly Damrak. This looks like a few streets off Damrak, so is probably much quieter. But the site said there are four floors. We stayed in a canal house hotel and had been warned that the stairs were steep and narrow. They were indeed, and I am very glad I had only one flight to deal with each day. You might want to see what you can find out about the stairs (no photos of them on the site) to be sure you can happily manage all the up and down.
