We have 25 people in our group. Can anyone recommend a restaurant in Haarlem for dinner that is $$ to $$$ that can hold that many people?
The Rick Steves 21 day Best of Europe tours start in Haarlem. The welcome dinner is usually at an Indonesian restaurant called De Lachende Javaan which serves a rijsttafel. I thought it was delicious!

The tour groups are usually 24-28 folks.
Jopen Brewery might be a fun option. https://www.jopenkerk.nl/haarlem/en/
I agree Javaan is outstanding. Other options would be the Jopenkerk Brewery/Restaurant (lower level and outside is beer and bar food but upper level is higher end fare). We are also fans of Bistrobar Indonesia, which is more of a hip fusion Indonesian restaurant compared to Javaan.
We also enjoyed the Lachende Javaan with an RS tour last year. One of the things that impressed me was the personalized meals. A couple of people on our tour were vegetarians, and they were accommodated. I have a metabolism glitch that keeps me from eating most forms of sugar. I had a very tasty sugar-free dinner that my DH said was better than what everyone else had.
The restaurant was full that evening, but kept up very well.
