Hi,
In Hamburg across from the central station, Hamburg Hbf is Paulaner's on Kirchenallee, traditional German cuisine. From Hamburg Hbf take the Kirchenallee exit. I have been there twice for dinner, it did not disappoint. Locals as well as tourists go there.
On payment: I don't think they take a credit card. When I was there the second time, a party wanted to pay with a credit card, they were told otherwise.
