We loved our stay at The Pavilions, Toren Hotel in Amsterdam! The location in the Jordaan, is absolutely fantastic!
We only had carry-ons, so it was an easy 15 min walk from Amsterdam Central Train Station. It's also about a 7 - 10 min walk from the Anne Frank House. We walked everywhere and didn't end up taking trams. The Jordaan area is wonderful and we enjoyed lots of cafes and dinner spots close by.
The staff at The Toren are kind and welcoming, the room was so lovely and quiet. I expected the Cozy Standard room to be really small, but it ended up being surpringly roomy and we even had a little garden spot. ** Using the RS discount code made this hotel much more reasonable and I got a flexible rate, so when the price dropped about a week and a half before our arrival, I was able to change the reservation and take advantage of that savings.
It was our first time in Amsterdam and staying at The Toren, couldn't have been more perfect.
