Indonesian food in De Pijp

The very popular restaurant Warung Spang Makandra was beyond full, so instead I went to the restaurant just around the corner, Sari Citra. I highly recommend it for everyone, especially for the less adventurous or solo travelers who cannot order a rijstaffel.

The food is presented in a case when you walk into the restaurant. You pick out what you'd like, choose between rice or bamee noodles, and they heat it up in a microwave for you. It's very cheap at €9.50 for a filling, delicious meal. Keep in mind that the place is halal, therefore no alcohol is served, but there is a very large variety of juices, sodas, and mineral water to go with your meal. I can't wait to try the one Indonesian restaurant in my city now!
