Hotel in The Hague

Hotel des Indies is wonderdul but pricey.

The fabulous thing about den Haag (The Hague) is that it is a 10 minute tram ride to Delft and everything that Delft has to offer, including all its hotels and other lodging.

There are some beachfront hotels at Scheveningen, the beachside district of den Haag.

We enjoyed staying at the Hilton. Got a nice deal by booking through Hilton Honors. Hotel was close to the museums, the Peace Palace, interesting shopping, and good restaurants. Staff was very helpful.

I got a good deal at the Mercure several years ago, lovely hotel, excellent location. It costs nothing to join accorhotels and you usually get a somewhat better price and maybe a special offer for breakfast (their buffet is very good). Sometimes they also offer a discount for booking at least 21 days in advance, prepay/no refund.
