We enjoyed a 4 night stay at the Flying Pancake in Amsterdam. Claudia, the proprietor, was friendly, efficient, and ready to help. The accommodations were very nice. It is more like staying in an apartment than a typical B and B. Each suite contained a small fridge, microwave, espresso maker, couch, television, etc. It was very comfortable and spacious for our family of 3. While Claudia typically accepts reservations for 2 people, she was able to accommodate our family by providing us with an air mattress.
While the historic home had the typical steep steps found in the Netherlands, I appreciated the extra exercise after enjoying Claudia's generous breakfasts.
I am really glad we chose this over an AirBnB or VRBO rental like we typically use. The price ended up being much less than what I was finding for an apartment rental especially when factoring in the value of the breakfasts.
