I have seen Youtube and other media reviews about this hotel and folks have reported, recently, that there is no elevator. I contacted the hotel and they said that there IS an elevator.
Has anyone been there?
If so, is there a functional elevator?

I've not stayed there. But given the hotel looks like it's 5 stories and rated very highly,
I cannot fathom that there is not an elevator.
You can search Tripadvisor reviews for specific words. Searching for "elevator", it
appears all the reviews noting a lack of elevator are talking about an apartment
somehow attached to the hotel, not the hotel itself. Maybe you should read things
a bit more closely before posting....

Their apartments - which are in a slightly different location - do not have lift amenity:

Be careful with youtubes: the very first "review" video I looked at, which claimed that there's no elevator, didn't even use actual photos of the hotel. It was cheap advertising with random tourism pix for a discount hotel booking site. There was no proof the author had ever stayed there themselves.
booking.com is a good site to do research. You can also book on booking or go directly to the lodging site.
I am sorry to hear that there may be some fraud on YouTube because I use the site a lot for a lot of different reasons.
