Bridge House accommodations in Delft

My wife and I booked and thought we were staying at the Bridge House in Delft on recommendation of their mention in one of Rick's guide books. We truely enjoyed the town and the excellent dining, but were really disappointed to discover the Bridge House has taken on the practice of housing guests in several rather worn and unpleasant rental apartments near their hotel. We had the misfortune of be housed in a rather loud, thread bare studio apartment located above a liquor / smoke shop on the main truck and auto lane into the old town, so in addition to hearing the slamming shop door into the evening, we got to enjoy the rubbish trucks, delivery trucks and rowdy students late into the night and early each morning. The only good part of the experience was the morning breakfast, which was served at the actual Bridge House location. Just writing to let Rick and his team, as well as fellow travelers, know that you need to confirm your reservation for accommodations at the Bridge House is really at the hotel, and not one of the off site locations they are routing guest to.
