I am trying to book an apartment last minute in Amsterdam for 3 nights. I will be traveling with my husband & 2 sons ages 12 & 14. Has anyone stayed at the apartment named De Prins? or stayed in this area nieuwendammerdijk? Or does someone have experience with an apartment they enjoyed?

Jean, I haven't stayed there but the location seems ideal if you are planning on going to the museums. I have stayed and will be staying again with piedaterre in Amsterdam. If you look at her properties on Trip Advisor you can see the calendar.
Jean, try posting this also on the "Netherlands" board of the "Destination Q&A" part of this forum. You should get more responses. Right now you're on the board that's used mainly for reviews of places where people have stayed or eaten.
We stayed in an Apartment called The Weavery and LOVED it! it had a loft the kids could sleep in.
