Montenegro Help

Just started planning my trip to Montenegro for end of April and came onto this forum for some advice. Texas travel mum has always had great tips and now I have been using Dijana Krkotic who has been wonderful. As I also found out her costs are pretty much the same as me doing it by myself and with much more insider information. I would not hesitate to recommend her for guidance and arranging trips Really looking forward to my trip for 10 days where it’s going to be a combination of having a driver and taking a bus as well as doing private trips as well as group trips.

She's done a good job for me, and few other RS forum folks and a few close friends if mine. It's why I have no trouble recommending her. Everyone wants to see a place before the tourists find it. But before the tourist find it, the tourism infrastructure doesn't exist and that's when you need help.

We are going to Montenegro in September for five days following the RS Best of the Adriatic tour. Per the advice of MR. E we have contacted Dijana and she is helping to arrange private drivers and lodging for us. She even booked our tickets on Wizz Air to Budapest when we could not do it. Looking forward to seeing a bit of Montenegro.

We are looking at using Dijana as well. I’ve heard great reviews on here and can’t wait to see what she creates for an itinerary for us. She says it will get a significant savings vs an RS tour.

I am also using Dijana for a 4-5 day Se[tember/October post RS Adriatic trip to Montenegro. So far so good with the experience. Will keep posted here.

I am just starting to plan an adventure (I paused on this word ... trip doesn't sound right; vacation seems too relaxed; journey makes me sound old ... so I went with "adventure") to Montenegro for June 2026. I'm intrigued by the reviews here for Dijana Krkotic but don't see contact info. Can someone share how I contact Dijana to help me plan ... as I love the efficiency of that!

My friend and I were in Montenegro September 6-11 following a 14 day RS Best of the Adriatic tour. Per Mr. E's advice we contacted Dijana several months before the trip to help plan. She arranged a private driver to pick us up early morning on the 6th in Dubrovnik. He was a lovely man from Bosnia, he spoke very good English. He drove us across the border where we picked up another young man as our guide. He was from Montenegro and spoke decent English. They took us on a walking tour of Herceg Novi and then on a ferry across the Bay of Kotor followed by another walking tour of Kotor. Mid afternoon they brought us to the little village of Perast where we stayed for two nights. We really enjoyed staying there and we glad we did not stay in Kotor.
Day 3 the same young man from Montenegro picked us up and was our driver and guide for the day. He took us up to the Ostrog-Orthodox monastery which was amazing. Then drove us to the Tara Bridge so we could see the Tara Gorge (second deepest in the world). After that he drove us to Zabljak where we stayed for two nights. We were able to walk the next day to the nearby Dermitor National Park where we spent the day.
Day 5 we took a bus from Zabljak to Podgorica where Dijana picked us up! It was lovely to meet her. She drove us to her family run guest house where we spent a relaxing day and night until mid afternoon the next day. Her brother took us to the airport and we flew to Budapest for a few days before flying home.
Everything went smoothly because of the arrangements made by Dijana. I highly recommend using her services and if you get a chance to stay at her family run place; that was such a relaxing treat with very good food served, all straight from their land including the wine. Regina
