My husband and I drove down from Dubrovnik to Sveti Stefan all the way along Boka Kotorska (no, we didn't want to take the ferry!) and, by chance, happened to find this delightful little restaurant with a terrasse overlooking the sea and the surrounding mountains. In two weeks we had been touring Croatia, we didn't eat that well as we did in this lovely restaurant. We decided to order different kinds of fish (they call it "Fish extra category"!) after having been shown (litterally shown!) all the fresh fish of the day by the owner himself. As a starter, we had an excellent fish soup and I am now certain that if a restaurant can make an excellent fish soup then one can be 100% sure of the quality of the rest of the meal. - And the rest was really excellent! Before the fish was served, it arrived marvellously grilled (!) on a long plate and is then boned by the owner. While we were looking at him masterly taking the bones out of the fish, my husband said he reminded him of a highly professional hairdresser(!) Anyhow, it was a real feast and the two of us felt like not wanting to leave anymore. - The restaurant is located in a small village of Prcanj, few kilometers from Kotor and Tivat. It has a wonderful terrace and the owner and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. - One more detail: the quantities of this marvellous food are really substantial so you do feel that it is an amazing value (and quality) for your money. - I sincerely recommend it to all visiting Montenegro even for a day excursion from Croatia. The exact address is:
"Villa Marija" - Prcanj 148, Kotor
