Few days in Italy

HEllo everyone
I'm plannig short trip to Italy, lnding in Venice. I have been in this area before. Becaus eI'm going for the concert in Padua, I'd like to take day or two to explore most interesting places around. I would like to ask you if you think is a good idea to go to the Dolomites and I wonder more experience travellers could shere some good advices and tips. Many thanks MOnika
