Zicasso tour group

Not being familiar with the company and being curious, I Googled it. For other potential posters' information, Zicasso is a Silicon Valley based travel company that designs/offers high-end tours, including Italy tours.

Except that they don't design trips themselves. They pair you with external "travel specialists" that they partner with to do that.

The word "luxury" is used liberally on their website.

I already knew who they were, I just wondered if anyone had actully used them and if they are a reputable tour company. I have been working with them to plan a custom trip, but I'm very leary of sending a lot of money without a recommendation from someone who has used them.

Yes, they paired me with 2 local Italy agents to actually plan the trip. I really liked Carmen in Rome, but still don't feel good about sending thousands of dollars to a company that may not be legit.

Oh. Even though I haven't used them, I absolutely think they're legit.

You might also search or post on Trip Advisor, as I believe more people using luxury travel companies post there than here.

A quick google search of 'Zicasso reviews' brings up options. TripAdvisor has a running thread on it, but one has to wonder about the legitamacy of all the one and two post wonders on those threads. Though given the 4 year life of the thread there may be some strength in their support.
Keep in mind that a third party agent is only as good as there on ground suppliers, so perhaps your question should be of the calibre of their Italian companies?
