I had figured out some time ago that I've inadvertently planned my travel from zermatt to milan on a day when the EC train between Visp-Milan actually runs only between Brig-Domodossola.
I had thought that I will be able to take a train from Domodossola to Milan in this case, one extra hop but shouldn't be too bad.
However, recently I noticed that there are no trains between Domodossola and Milan on September 29 while I clearly remember seeing them last month.
Is the Domodossola to Milan train line closed on Sep. 29? What other options do I have to make this connection? Are buses available and reliable? Should I be considering an alternate route instead of Domodossola?
